The Ballon d’Or is a prestigious award in the shape of a golden ball that is given to the player who played the best in the world that year. It is debatably the hardest trophy to win in football the player to win it the most with 8 trophies is Lionel Messi. The 2026 ballondor is approaching us shortly being announced being revealed on the 26th of October 2026 and it looks like it’s going to be a close one with some amazing players getting some amazing feats

Rodri is a Spanish midfielder who is known for playing for Manchester city and showing off his skills by winning a champions league with them, currently he plays for Barcelona as a key player in the middle. He also led the Spanish team to win the world cup which is the best feat in football to achieve which earns him this 3rd place spot.
Lamine Yamal, is a Spanish prodigy who made his international debut at the age of 16 showing what he could do at such a young age with a really good run in the LaLiga really showing his potential his g/a was 48 in 58 games which is incredible.. During the summer he joined the Spanish National Team and won the World Cup.
Harry Kane, the Englishman, has shown despite his age, how well he can convert chances to goals in times of need. He plays in the Bundesliga and last season overall he scored 76 goals and assisted 8 in 70 matches which means he scores at least once a game which is hard to achieve. He also helped England get to the semi-final of the World Cup and managed to take them to a 3rd place finsih.
